Casa delle Vista

    Casa delle Vista is the home of retired Lieutenant General Richard C and Lynn Bethurem.  They have spent over thirty years traveling the world as part of the US Air Force.  General Bethurem was a fighter pilot who was awarded three Distinguished Flying Crosses for his daring combat missions in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.  He also commanded all air forces in Saudi Arabia during the post Persian Gulf War and commanded all NATO and US forces in southern Europe and in Bosnia-Hertzegovina.  He was Commandant of Cadets at the Air Force Academy and Commander of Nellis Air Force Base, where he commanded much of the now infamous “Area 51” in northern Nevada.

        Lynn designed ‘Casa delle Vista’ from their world travels, and the home reflects all the design features of Italy, Spain and the Southwest.  The land that the casa is built on was purchased over twenty years ago in hopes that it would be a good investment.  Instead, after the Bethurem’s retired, they realized how beautiful the landscape was and the beautiful views surrounding the property.  The result was ‘Casa delle Vista’, the

‘Home of many Views’.
